Lima, Perú – En un esfuerzo por fortalecer el desarrollo turístico a nivel local, el Presidente de Asicotur (Asociación Internacional para la Cooperación y Desarrollo Turístico), Alejandro Rubín Carballo, visitó la sede de la Federación de Municipalidades del Perú (FEMULP) durante su estancia en Lima. Estuvo acompañado por Marisol Acosta, miembro de la Junta Directiva de Asicotur..
La delegación fue recibida por el Secretario General de FEMULP, así como por varios alcaldes pertenecientes al Consejo de la Federación y personal de la institución, quienes mostraron gran interés en las iniciativas de Asicotur.
La jornada comenzó con una presentación oficial a cargo del Presidente Rubín Carballo. Posteriormente, se abrió un diálogo constructivo entre los representantes municipales y Asicotur, centrado en el crucial tema del desarrollo turístico en los municipios peruanos. Este intercambio de ideas se enfocó en cómo la cooperación puede impulsar economías locales y mejorar la gestión de destinos.
La visita concluyó con un intercambio protocolario de presentes y reconocimientos, simbolizando el compromiso mutuo de colaboración.
Al finalizar el encuentro, Alejandro Rubín Carballo reiteró el compromiso de su asociación con el sector municipal:
“Agradecemos las atenciones y continuaremos trabajando con las Municipalidades de Femulp en la medida en que necesiten nuestra colaboración.”
Esta visita subraya la intención de Asicotur de estrechar lazos con las administraciones locales en Iberoamérica para potenciar el turismo como motor de crecimiento sostenible y desarrollo social.
