La Orden del Camino de Santiago clausuró este sábado la cuarta edición de su proyecto itinerante “Coñece os Camiños” con una destacada Jornada de Promoción del Camino Inglés celebrada en la localidad de Pontedeume.
El evento, que busca divulgar y revalorizar las distintas rutas jacobeas, contó con la presencia y participación del Gran Mestre, Miguel Pampín, quien presidió la jornada y subrayó la importancia de la ruta que históricamente utilizaron los peregrinos procedentes de las Islas Británicas y otros países del norte de Europa.
“El Camino Inglés no solo es una ruta de peregrinación, sino también un puente cultural e histórico que une a Galicia con el mundo atlántico,” señaló el Gran Mestre Miguel Pampín durante su intervención.
Conferencias y Actuación Cultural La jornada de cierre estuvo marcada por un ciclo de conferencias en las que expertos y académicos abordaron aspectos históricos, artísticos y socioeconómicos del Camino Inglés, atrayendo a numerosos asistentes interesados en el patrimonio jacobeo.
Tras el componente divulgativo, los asistentes pudieron disfrutar de una muestra de la cultura gallega. El colofón musical corrió a cargo de la Asociación Folclórica y Cultural (A.F.C.) Orballo, cuya actuación ofreció una vibrante interpretación de música y danza tradicional gallega, poniendo el broche de oro al evento.
El proyecto “Coñece os Camiños” se consolida, un año más, como una iniciativa fundamental para la promoción y conocimiento de las diversas sendas que conducen a Santiago de Compostela. ¿Te gustaría que ampliase algún detalle sobre las conferencias o sobre el significado del proyecto en general?
