Saltillo, Coahuila. — En un año marcado por el crecimiento sostenido y la seguridad, Coahuila ha logrado posicionarse como un referente turístico en el norte de México.
Así lo dio a conocer la Secretaria de Turismo y Desarrollo de Pueblos Mágicos, Cristina Amezcua, durante su comparecencia ante el Congreso del Estado.
En un ejercicio de rendición de cuentas frente a las comisiones unidas de Desarrollo Económico, Competitividad y Turismo, y de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales, la funcionaria estatal destacó que, bajo la administración del gobernador Manolo Jiménez Salinas, 2025 ha sido un año clave para la entidad.
Un destino sólido y seguro
Amezcua enfatizó que la estrategia estatal no solo se ha centrado en la promoción, sino en garantizar la infraestructura y la paz social necesarias para atraer visitantes.
En 2025, Coahuila avanzó a pasos de gigante. Hoy somos un destino turístico sólido, competitivo y, sobre todo, seguro para nuestros visitantes y para la inversión”, puntualizó la secretaria durante su intervención.
La funcionaria subrayó la diversificación de la oferta turística, que abarca desde el turismo de negocios y convenciones hasta el ecoturismo y la riqueza cultural de los Pueblos Mágicos, alineándose con la visión de desarrollo sostenible que promueven las comisiones legislativas presentes.
El respaldo del sector hotelero
El optimismo gubernamental fue respaldado por la iniciativa privada. Armando de la Garza, Secretario General de la Asociación de Hoteles y Hospedaje en Coahuila, coincidió en que el balance del año es sumamente positivo.
De la Garza señaló que la sinergia entre el sector empresarial y el gobierno estatal ha sido fundamental para estos resultados:
Compromiso gubernamental: Reconoció la voluntad política del gobernador Manolo Jiménez para priorizar el turismo como motor económico.
Gestión efectiva: Destacó la labor de Cristina Amezcua al frente de la secretaría para mantener el diálogo abierto con los hoteleros y prestadores de servicios.
Ha sido un buen año para Coahuila. Existe un compromiso real por parte del Gobierno del Estado y eso se refleja en la ocupación y en la derrama económica”, afirmó el líder hotelero.

La comparecencia concluyó reafirmando el compromiso de seguir trabajando bajo la estrategia #CoahuilaPaDelante, buscando que el estado no solo mantenga su ritmo de crecimiento, sino que continúe sorprendiendo a México y al mundo con sus atractivos.
