Una destacada delegación internacional de la Orden del Camino de Santiago, encabezada por su Canciller, Alejandro Rubín Carballo, se encuentra en el Vaticano a la espera de participar en la audiencia pública con el Papa Francisco.
La comitiva, compuesta por varios Comendadores de la Orden, representa a ocho países y subraya el carácter universal y el compromiso de la institución con los valores del Camino de Santiago.
El Canciller Rubín Carballo y los miembros de la Delegación han viajado a Roma con el objetivo de llevar el espíritu del Camino y la devoción jacobea hasta la Sede Apostólica, fortaleciendo los lazos históricos y espirituales con la Iglesia Católica.
Un Saludo Fraterno para México
Momentos antes del inicio de la audiencia, la Delegación quiso enviar un mensaje especial a través de esta nota.
“En este día tan significativo, queremos enviar un saludo y un abrazo a nuestros hermanos de México Extraordinario,” expresó el Canciller Alejandro Rubín Carballo, destacando la conexión y el cariño de la Orden con la nación mexicana y sus gentes.
La presencia de esta amplia representación internacional en el Vaticano pone de manifiesto la creciente relevancia de la Orden del Camino de Santiago como embajadora de la cultura, la historia y el peregrinaje que converge en la tumba del Apóstol Santiago en Compostela.
