San Luis Potosí, 16 de agosto de 2024 — En un esfuerzo por potenciar el desarrollo turístico de la Huasteca Potosina, se celebró la reunión ordinaria de la Asociación de Hoteles en la región.
La secretaria de turismo del estado, Yolanda Cepeda Echavarría, estuvo presente, junto con el presidente estatal de la Asociación de Hoteles, Rafael Armendáriz; el vicepresidente regional, Carlos Solares; y destacados hoteleros de la Huasteca.
Durante la reunión, Rafael Armendáriz detalló las acciones realizadas por la Asociación para impulsar el sector. Yolanda Cepeda, por su parte, expuso las iniciativas que la Secretaría de Turismo está llevando a cabo para fomentar el desarrollo en la región.
Carlos Solares destacó varias necesidades urgentes del sector, incluyendo la carencia de promoción del estado, el desorden en los parajes naturales, y la falta de regulación en el sistema de riego, crucial para mantener los niveles de agua en ríos y cascadas.
Como respuesta, la secretaria Cepeda propuso establecer reuniones interinstitucionales con diversas dependencias estatales, como la Junta Estatal de Caminos, la Secretaría de Ecología y Protección Civil. El objetivo es abordar de manera integral las necesidades del sector turístico y asegurar su desarrollo sostenido.
La Asociación de Hoteles reafirmó su compromiso con las acciones institucionales para fortalecer el sector, con la meta de posicionar a San Luis Potosí como un destino turístico destacado.
