San Luis Potosí, S.L.P. – El reciente periodo vacacional trajo consigo un aumento en los niveles de ocupación hotelera en la capital potosina, alcanzando hasta un 65%, según informó Rafael Armendáriz Blázquez, presidente de la Asociación Estatal de Hoteles y Moteles.
Armendáriz Blázquez destacó que este porcentaje refleja un respiro para el sector turístico, que se ha visto afectado en los últimos años por las restricciones sanitarias y la desaceleración económica. “La reactivación del turismo en San Luis Potosí es alentadora. Los visitantes, tanto nacionales como extranjeros, están optando por nuestra ciudad debido a su diversidad cultural, gastronómica y su riqueza histórica”, apuntó.
El presidente de la asociación también señaló que la estrategia de promoción turística, sumada a la organización de eventos y actividades culturales durante la temporada, ha sido clave para atraer turistas y elevar la ocupación hotelera.
Finalmente, se mostró optimista sobre las proyecciones para los próximos meses, confiando en que la tendencia de recuperación se mantenga, especialmente con la llegada de festividades y eventos que tradicionalmente generan un incremento en la afluencia de visitantes.
