Ciudad del Vaticano, Con un profundo espíritu de fe y tradición, los miembros de la Orden del Camino de Santiago han participado en una significativa peregrinación en la Plaza del Vaticano, como parte de las celebraciones del Jubileo 2025: Peregrinos de Esperanza.
Los distintos integrantes de la Orden se congregaron en un emotivo recorrido, portando con solemnidad la Cruz antes de cruzar la Puerta Santa de la Basílica de San Pedro, un gesto central para obtener la Indulgencia Plenaria de este Año Santo.
El Canciller de la Orden, Alejandro Rubín Carballo, destacó la relevancia de este acto: “Estas acciones de la Orden viven el Jubileo 2025”, reafirmando el compromiso de la institución con los valores de la peregrinación y la fe cristiana en este tiempo de gracia universal.
Tras la peregrinación, la delegación asistió a la Santa Misa, celebrada en la histórica Capilla de San Pedro. La Eucaristía fue concelebrada por el Capellán de la Orden, llegado especialmente desde Brasil, simbolizando el carácter internacional y la expansión de la Orden del Camino de Santiago a nivel global.
Esta visita a Roma subraya la misión de la Orden de preservar y promover los valores espirituales y la tradición jacobea, uniendo el espíritu del Camino de Santiago con el corazón de la cristiandad durante este importante Año Santo.
